What Student Ministry Looks Like
School changes. Friend groups shift. The questions about who you are and what you believe get louder every year. Riverwood Chapel in Kent, Ohio exists so you have a place to figure that out with people who actually know your name.
Every gathering is anchored in Scripture and pointed toward Jesus. The point is to build a faith that belongs to you, held up by friendships that last longer than a semester.
Sunday Morning Bible Study
5th and 6th graders meet in Room 101. 7th and 8th graders gather in the Student Center. Both groups run from 10:15 to 11:15 AM, and every lesson connects what the Bible says to what you are actually dealing with during the week.

Middle School Night (Wednesdays)
This is the best night of your week. Doors open at 6:30 PM for gym games, teaching time, and small group time. You will make friends, get to know your small group leader, and hear about Jesus in a way that makes sense for your life right now.
Sunday Morning Bible Study
10:15 AM in the gym. The group follows the current sermon series and talks through the passage together. Whether you go to worship before or after, this hour gives you space to dig into Scripture with people asking the same questions you are.

Sunday Night Gatherings
Select Sunday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 PM in the Gym. Low pressure, high energy. Bring a friend. These nights are designed to help you connect with new people and grow as a follower of Jesus.
Small Groups
Sunday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at locations that vary by group. This is where it gets real. You study the Bible, pray, and have honest conversations about following Jesus through the actual stuff of your life. If you want friendships that go past the surface, a small group is the move.

DO NOT OVERTHINK IT
Jump In This Week
The best way to start is to show up. Pick the environment that fits your grade, walk through the door, and let the leaders handle the rest. You will feel welcome in the first five minutes. Jesus meets you where you are, and so does this team.
