The Mission Needs Your Hands
Serve at Riverwood
Serving at Riverwood is how you join God's work in this church and this community.
Riverwood runs on people who show up. Serving is one of the best ways to use your gifts, build relationships that matter, and make this church a place where every person who walks through the doors encounters Jesus.
Whether you have one hour a month or want to be part of a weekly team, there is a role that fits.

Where You Can Serve
Kids Ministry
Nursery volunteers, preschool and elementary teachers and assistants, substitute volunteers, Kids Prayer Team, and In Between Sundays Team. Serve during the 9:00, 10:15, or 11:30 AM services. All kids ministry volunteers are background-checked.
Kids Sports Ministry
Head and assistant coaches for soccer, basketball, and flag football. Referees and program support volunteers keep each season running. A seasonal commitment that puts the love of Jesus on the field.
Student Ministry
Wednesday night small group leaders and games leaders for middle school (5th-8th grade). Sunday night hosts for high school (once a month). Walk alongside the next generation as they grow in faith.
Worship and Technical Arts
Audio, video, lighting, and production. The Technical Arts Team keeps the Sunday worship experience running so the church can focus on Jesus.
First Impressions
Ushers, greeters, Cafe Crew, and Medical Response Team. You are the first face someone sees when they walk through the doors on a Sunday morning. How you welcome them matters.
Prayer Ministry
Sunday Morning Prayer Partners and Worship Center Prayer Partners serve during the 8:00 and 11:00 AM volunteer shifts. Stand with people in prayer as they respond to the message and bring their needs before Jesus.
Adult Ministry
Life Group Leaders, Bible Study Leaders, and Special Event Volunteers (greeters, setup, tear down). Lead a group, teach a study, or support the events that bring this community together.
Care Ministry
Care Partners (long-term care), Care Visitation Team, Nursing Home Team, Meals Team, Rides to Riverwood (Sunday morning drivers), Community Help Team, Card Ministry Team, Celebrate Recovery Leadership Team, and Food Pantry volunteers. These roles put the compassion of Jesus into action for people walking through hard seasons.
Facilities
Painting Team and building support. Keep the physical campus of Riverwood Chapel ready to serve the mission every day of the week.
