FAITH THAT GROWS IN COMMUNITY

What Adult Studies Look Like

Following Jesus is a lifelong process, and it moves faster when you do it alongside other people. Adult studies and classes at Riverwood Chapel in Kent, Ohio are where you dig into Scripture, ask real questions, and build relationships that last beyond a Sunday morning.

Some gatherings run year-round. Others rotate seasonally. The format varies, but the anchor stays the same: the Bible, studied in community, applied to real life.

If you are unsure where to start, a Bible study is a great first step.

Current Offerings

Men’s Huddle

Sundays at 10:15 AM in Room 114. Men's Huddle gathers men of all ages for teaching and conversation grounded in Scripture. This group runs year-round and is built for men who want to grow in their faith in Jesus. Walk in any Sunday.

Women to Women

Sundays at 10:15 AM in The Gathering Space. Women to Women is a year-round gathering where women study Scripture, encourage each other, and build friendships centered on Christ. If you want a consistent community of women growing in Jesus together, this is the room.

Bible Studies

Bible studies follow a fall and spring schedule at various times and locations. These smaller gatherings are where you get to know others and dig into God's Word at a pace that allows for real conversation. If you are new to Riverwood or new to the Bible, a study group is the best place to start.

You Do Not Have to Figure It Out Alone

YOUR FIRST SUNDAY IN A CLASS

What to Expect

First time in a class? Here is what the morning looks like.

Men’s Huddle or Women to Women

Head to Room 114 (men) or The Gathering Space (women) at 10:15 AM. Grab coffee on the way in. Both classes are designed so you can walk in any week without missing a beat. Someone will welcome you and help you get settled.

Seasonal Classes

Show up at the gym during the scheduled session. Seasonal classes typically run for several weeks, and most are easy to join mid-series. Check the class description for details on the current topic.

Bible Studies

Timing and location vary. Sign up through Planning Center to find a study that fits your schedule. The leader will reach out with the details and make sure you know what to expect before you walk in. Jesus is the subject of every study, and no question is off the table.

College

Room 115 at 10:15 AM. Grab coffee in the lobby first if you want. The group is casual, and Bryan Kane will make sure you are not sitting alone.
