Local Outreach is driven by two statements by Jesus the Christ; "make disciples..." and "love your neighbor...."
The former is our Great Commission, the latter our Great Commandment. In response to these two commands we endeavor to reflect Christ to our community.
These two activities (meeting needs and proclaiming truth) are complementary, not competitive. Proclaiming the truth of the Gospel is our ultimate hope, but it will never be our ulterior motive.
